A corporate republic is a form of government run primarily like a business, involving a council, in which all aspects of society are privatized by a single, or small groups of entities. The ultimate goal of this state is to increase the wealth of its people, and the government acknowledges its status as a Corporate Republic.
This form of government in which a state is ruled by a President, and representatives of the citizen body. Modern republics are founded on the idea that sovereignty rests with the people, though people within the state are included and excluded from the category of the people or citizens of the State. Because citizens do not govern the state themselves but through representatives, this Republics is distinguished from direct democracy, though modern representative democracies are by and large republics.
